Courier Express™ began twenty years ago with one
van and has now grown to become one of the largest independent
courier companies in the UK.
All this has been achieved by maintaining an extremely
competitive pricing policy and taking care of and pride
in the jobs we undertake, plus, in the unlikely event
of us making a mistake, we guarantee to correct it, at
our expense.
In short, good old fashioned service which is sadly so
rare these days.
As well as the urgent courier deliveries that we started
out with, we are now able to offer a complete logistics
service including HGV lorries from 7.5 to 44 ton, an effective
overnight pallet service with the lowest damage rates
in the business.
Our latest service
in association with
which matches goods that require moving with vehicles
that have space available heading in the same direction.
This, we believe is going to be a major development in
the haulage industry in the coming years, both from the
need to cut costs and also the environmental standpoint.

As said before, Atlas Courier Express™ is run with
the customer in mind. It is our firm belief that customer
service is paramount, and that a customer should never
be left disappointed with our service.
It is in our view easy to offer good service when things
go right, but when things go wrong, it is the way things
are handled that stands out.
We will not try to hide behind terms & conditions
or deny that we were told something, it is far easier
just to be honest and put things right, even when it is
not our fault!
One such instance stands out, which was a pallet that
needed to be shipped from Ireland for the opening of a
large store in Manchester.
The customer opted for the overnight
pallet service to save money, against our advice for such
an important shipment, and sure enough things went wrong
due to a breakdown in communication between depots.
The upshot of which meant the goods
would not arrive on time. We put ourselves out and found
another courier making a delivery to Ireland who was willing
to bring the goods back on the same day, they were delivered
safely and on time, at no extra cost to our customer.
This is what we mean by "customer service".
