environmental impact on the planet.
ENERGY SAVING
We have all electrically operated
equipment switched off when not being used, including any
computers not being used for essential work.
We are also looking to switch to green energy suppliers
when current contracts expire.
RECYCLING
Our offices currently recycle all
office waste that it is possible to re-use in some way,
including any paper, ink cartridges,metal, wood, expired
IT equipment and everything else possible. In association

This has reduced our contribution to landfill by well in
excess of 50%.
We endeavour to use recycled products, including paper,
wherever it is practical. |
WASTE PAPER
We have recently introduced a new
IT system which enables us to cut down on paper usage by
sending out Invoices & proofs of delivery in PDF format,
with many customers signing up for this service already.
We also use e-mail to advise customers of new services &
quotations where this is acceptable to the customer.
WEBSITE
Atlas online booking is our internet
based job booking, tracking & reporting system, which
enables customers to book jobs, track freight,obtain proof
of delivery & keep track of jobs as they happen.
This saves on both waste & money.
We have also set up the website "goods
to go" which provides customers with the ability to
"vehicle share" hence saving on CO2 emissions,
which is without doubt our biggest contribution to help
protect the environment. |
